Edgewater Arts Festival

My final outdoor event of 2017 is one of my favorites! I’ll be at the Edgewater Arts Festival, 1030-1140 W. Granville Avenue, just east of Broadway, September 23-24, from 11am-6pm. The Edgewater Arts Fest is a neighborhood celebration of the arts presented by Edgewater Artists in Motion, a non-profit community organization. The fest is located just off the Granville Red Line stop, and free and metered parking is available around the festival.

I’ll be at booth 62 on Granville, just east of the Granville Red Line, and I look forward to seeing you there!

Bucktown Arts Festival

It’s RedAvaDesigns’ last event of Summer 2017! I’m excited to be back at the 32st Annual Bucktown Arts Festival, at 2200 N. Oakley Avenue, August 26-27, from 11am-7pm. The Bucktown Arts Fest is a non-profit, all-volunteer run, neighborhood celebration of the arts. All proceeds from the fest go to fund and develop arts and music programming at Holstein Park and in the Bucktown/Wicker Park neighborhoods. Admission is free.

I’ll be at booth 110 on Lyndale Avenue, just east of Western, and I hope to see you there!

Glenwood Avenue Arts Festival

This Saturday and Sunday, August 19-20, I’ll be back at one of my favorite events, the Glenwood Avenue Arts Festival! The fest takes place at the intersection of Morse and Glenwood Avenues in Rogers Park, from 11am-9pm. My booth number is 172 on Morse (north side of the street), just west of Glenwood.

The Glenwood Avenue Arts Fest (GAAF) is a free, weekend-long arts festival that features 100+ artists, open studios, and live entertainment on three outdoor stages. Experience art of all disciplines, music, theater, food and drink on the cobblestone streets of the Glenwood Avenue Arts District in Chicago’s historic Rogers Park neighborhood.

Made in Chicago Market, Hosted by the Chicago Reader

This Sunday, August 6, I’ll be at the Made in Chicago Market, sponsored by the Chicago Reader. The market takes place at Plumbers Hall, 1340 W. Washington, Chicago, from 11am-5pm.

It’s indoors and air-conditioned, and admission and parking are free! Find beautiful, locally-made jewelry, accessories, apparel, housewares and more, as well as many delicious food and drink vendors. I hope to see you then!

Bronze Double Arch Ring

My bronze Double Arch Ring was just purchased as the signature ring for actor Juno Temple in the sci-fi series “Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams”. The series will be out this fall in the UK on Channel 4, and then on Amazon Prime! Juno’s stunt double gets one too!

38th Annual Evanston Chamber Artisan Festival

RedAvaDesigns will be participating with Remix 2017 as part of the Evanston Chamber of Commerce’s 38th Annual Evanston Chamber Artisan Festival (formerly known as the Fountain Square Art Festival). The festival takes place this Saturday and Sunday, June 24-25, 11am to 6pm both days, at the intersection of Church and Sherman Streets. I hope you’ll visit me in booth 124!

Evanston Made Pop-Up Store

Paisley and Turquoise Pendant, Etched Copper and Prong-Set Stone

RedAvaDesigns will be selling select items at the Evanston Made Pop-Up Store, at the Evanston Art Center, from June 2-30, open every day (hours vary). Evanston Made is an annual celebration in June that showcases Evanston creatives. A portion of proceeds from sales benefits programs at the Evanston Art Center.

I will also be at the store this Sunday, June 4, from noon until 4pm, so stop by!

Celebrate springtime in Chicago at What’s Blooming on Harrison, the Oak Park Arts District’s annual street festival, on Saturday, May 20 from 11 am – 7 pm. You’ll find us on Harrison Street in Oak Park between Lombard and Harvey. Our booth number is 44. I’ve got a mix of new work for the show, from enameling to metalsmithing!

The show will be brimming with talented local artists, music, food, and family activities, and admission is free!

Elmhurst’s 21st Annual Art in Wilder Park

RedAvaDesigns’ first outdoor event of the year is at Elmhurst’s 21st Annual Art in Wilder Park, this Saturday and Sunday, May 6 & 7. This will be our first year at this long-running event! Hours are 10am-5pm both days. I will be in booth #65 and I hope to see you there!

This juried show of fine art, craft, and design will have over 125 Midwestern artisans selling their art, including fiber, ceramics, jewelry, painting, sculpture, furniture, glass, mixed media, photography, and more.
