This Saturday and Sunday, August 18-19, I’ll be back at one of my favorite events, the Glenwood Avenue Arts Festival! The fest takes place at the intersection of Morse and Glenwood Avenues in Rogers Park, from 11am-9pm. My booth number is 146 on Morse (north side of the street), just west of Glenwood.
The Glenwood Avenue Arts Fest (GAAF) is a free, weekend-long arts festival that features 100+ artists, open studios, and live entertainment on three outdoor stages. Experience art of all disciplines, music, theater, food and drink on the cobblestone streets of the Glenwood Avenue Arts District in Chicago’s historic Rogers Park neighborhood.
RedAvaDesigns will be at the Glenview Art League 65th Annual Summer Art Fair on Saturday, July 28th and Sunday, July 29th, 2018 from 11:00 AM TO 5:00 PM. It is held on the grounds of Lyons School, on the corner of Lake Street and Waukegan Road in Glenview, IL.
The fair is volunteer run and helps support area art programs for adults and children through the Glenview Art League.
Hope you’re having a great summer and hope to see you there!
Voyage Chicago Magazine is one of my favorite online publications, so I was honored and excited when they recently contacted me for an interview. The magazine’s mission is to foster collaboration and support for small businesses, independent artists and entrepreneurs, local institutions and those that make Chicago interesting.

I’m excited to announce that I will be in a 4-person show at the Evanston Art Center from April 6-26 in the first-floor gallery space. The show features four enamel artists who explore the boundaries of this beautiful medium, each in a unique way. In addition to jewelry, I’ll be showing all-new wall art and vessels, and all work is for sale.
On Friday, April 6, from 5-8pm, we’ll be having an opening reception for the show, with complimentary food and beverages. All artists will be present, so come out and meet us!
Here’s a sneak peek of artwork I’m creating for an upcoming 4-person enameling show at the Evanston Art Center. This one is called “Flower Girl”, collage enamel on steel. I’ve been experimenting with creating other enamel works in addition to jewelry, a fun and interesting challenge.
This Saturday, March 10, I’ll be returning to (30 minutes north of Milwaukee), sponsored by Cedarburg High School, featuring 80 artists from the Midwest exhibiting and selling their original work in many artistic disciplines. 10am-5pm.
