The Society of North American Goldsmiths Jewelry and Metals Survey (JaMS), Vol. 3, has finally been released! I’m honored and excited to have my Rivulets Bowl featured in this publication. This 3rd annual survey highlights 180 objects made by 136 artists from 13 different countries.
Calling all last-minute shoppers! This Sunday, December 15, please join me for my final event of the year, the first annual Oh Craft! Holiday Market at Twisted Hippo Taproom & Eatery, 2925 W. Montrose Ave., Chicago, 12noon-6pm.
There’s an awesome lineup of 25 local, independent artists, and you can also enjoy a beer and delicious food from the Twisted Hippo kitchen.The suggested $5 donation goes to the Friendship Center, a food pantry on the Northwest side.

On Saturday, December 7, I’ll be returning to Waters Maker Fair. Come shop for amazing, affordable work by over 40 local artists, and support your local public school at the same time.

On Sunday, December 8, I’ll be at the Underground Art Market. The Underground Art Market is a annual pop-up art market created by artists for artists in 2010, and it has evolved into an exciting event at the beautiful Salvage One space. The focus is on promoting unique creations in the themes of recycled art, wellness, & functional art. Over 60 local artists and vendors.

My final outdoor event of 2019 is one of my favorites! I’ll be at the 7th Annual Edgewater Arts Festival, September 28-29, 1030-1140 W. Granville Avenue, between Broadway & Sheridan, from 11am-7pm on Saturday, and 11am to 6pm on Sunday.
The Edgewater Arts Fest is a neighborhood celebration of the arts presented by Edgewater Artists in Motion, a non-profit community organization, with 100 artists, 25 musical acts, and 3 stages. The fest is located just off the Granville Red Line stop,and free and metered parking is available around the festival.
I’ll be at booth #67 on Granville, just east of the Granville Red Line. Come check out my new work, I look forward to seeing you there!

RedAvaDesigns will be participating in the Evanston Fountain Square Artisan Summerfest! The North Shore’s largest and oldest (31 years) art fair includes 125 juried artists. It takes place this Saturday and Sunday, June 22-23, 11am to 7pm both days. I’ll be in booth #46, on Sherman between Church and Clark Streets. The fest also features craft beers, food, music, and performance.
RedAvaDesigns will be participating with Remix Chicago as part of the 21th Annual Wells Street Art Festival.. The festival includes 225 juried artists, and takes place this Saturday and Sunday, June 8-9, 10am to dusk both days, on Wells Street between North Avenue and Division. Remix Chicago is Chicago’s first festival featuring art that’s drawn from outside the margins: A refreshing remix of indie and craft art made from handmade, recycled, and found materials.

It’s finally springtime in Chicago, and Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 12th!
On Saturday, May 4, I’ll be at the Greater Independence Park Neighborhood Association 12th Annual Fine Craft Fair, at the Independence Park Gymnasium, 3945 N. Springfield Ave., Chicago 60618, from Noon to 4 p.m. Over 30 local artisans with original and handmade work will be there.
