Shop Policies

SHIPPING:
I thank you for your immediate payment upon checkout. Payments are processed through PayPal. You may use PayPal even if you do not have a PayPal account: you can pay by credit card, and in some countries, your debit card.

1. All items are shipped within 3 days or as soon as payment has cleared. Occasionally, there will be a delay, but I will communicate with you to let you know whenever that happens.

2. Most of the time I will ship via USPS, and will insure your order at no additional charge.

❉ USA: $3.40 for 1st item; $0.50 for each add’l item
❉ CANADA: $7.00 for 1st item; $0.50 for each add’l item
❉ EVERYWHERE ELSE: $7.75 for 1st item; $1.00 for each add’l item

I would be happy to add any extra features to your order, such as expedited shipping, for an additional charge.

MOST ORDERS ship within 2-3 business days (Mon-Fri) of your payment. Some items have a longer lead time, and I mention this lead time in the item description.

All shipments are First Class (USA) & First Class International. USA shipments include Delivery Confirmation. Insurance may be added for an additional charge.

For USA orders, I also use Delivery Confirmation. This is at no extra cost to you, but to ensure a secure delivery. For International Orders, I can use Shipsurance to insure your order for a small additional charge.

SHIPPING ADDRESS:
I will ship your order to the address you specify, so please be sure that your PayPal address matches. THANK YOU ahead of time!

USPS PRIORITY UPGRADES IN USA:
If you prefer USPS PRIORITY for USA deliveries, just contact (“convo”) me and I can amend your order. USPS Priority Mail is often delivered in just 2-3 business days across the USA.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:
I ship international packages twice per week, so please allow some extra time for your package to arrive. I ship First Class with Shipsurance as insurance. Some international shipments can be delayed due to Customs, so please allow extra time for this possibility (occasionally 3-4 weeks). If you would like to add tracking and insurance for an additional fee, please let me know.

The customer is responsible for any customs or taxes due. Sorry, I can not mark your purchase as a “gift” for the purposes of Customs.

SALES TAX, ILLINOIS RESIDENTS ONLY:
Illinois residents are subject to standard 10.25% sales tax, which is added to shipping charge at time of purchase.

REFUND POLICY:
I want you to love the pieces you buy from RedAvaDesigns. If you’re not satisfied, please email me to coordinate an exchange. I’ll need to receive your item back within 7 days of your receipt. Exchanges only – sorry, no refunds. Credit for returned merchandise will be extended for one year from date of original purchase.

Custom/altered/personalized items are non returnable/eligible for exchange.
In the event of an exchange, the customer is responsible for any and all shipping costs involved in the return of the item. Item must be sent back with its original packaging and with receipt of purchase. Items returned/exchanged without prior notification will not be accepted and be returned to sender.

I do not refund for lost or stolen packages nor am I responsible for items not received due to an incorrect shipping address. Refunds or returns for items that did not arrive by a specific or requested delivery date due to delays or complications caused by USPS or UPS will not be accepted.

Please send your items back to me in the original packaging via a trackable courier (UPS/FedEx), as I am not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit in the return back to me. Sorry, shipping charges are not refundable.
