RedAvaDesigns’ first outdoor event of the year is at Elmhurst’s 21st Annual Art in Wilder Park, this Saturday and Sunday, May 6 & 7. This will be our first year at this long-running event! Hours are 10am-5pm both days. I will be in booth #65 and I hope to see you there!
This juried show of fine art, craft, and design will have over 125 Midwestern artisans selling their art, including fiber, ceramics, jewelry, painting, sculpture, furniture, glass, mixed media, photography, and more.

RedAvaDesigns’ very first event of 2017 is the Handmade Market at The Empty Bottle! I’ve been working on several new designs and will be debuting them at the Handmade Market on Saturday, February 11, from 12 noon until 4pm. Walk next door to Bite Cafe for a bite, grab a drink at The Empty Bottle while you shop, and pick up a Valentine’s Day Gift for a loved one or for yourself. More than 30 sellers will be on the premises.

While you shop, we will have lots of fun activities for kids, including Santa, Holiday Gift Tree and Cake Walk. There will also be food trucks parked outside. The event proceeds benefit Waters School.

On Thursday, November 17, RedAvaDesigns will be at Bizarre Bazaar, Herman Miller Inc, 222 West Merchandise Mart Plaza Suite 321, Chicago, IL 60654. The International Interior Design Association Illinois Chapter welcomes dozens of local artisans and crafters, as they display their unique, handmade items for purchase, while supporting the IIDA Illinois Chapter Education Fund.
Fall is here and I’m excited to be back with Coterie Chicago for the 6th Annual West Town Art Walk on October 1st, 2016. Just over 20 local artists, artisans, and makers will be participating in this indoor pop-up market on one day only the at the Beauty Bar, 1444 W. Chicago Avenue, noon until 6pm. Admission to the Art Walk and Food Truck Social is free.
The Edgewater Arts Festival is happening this weekend, September 24-25 on Granville, east of Broadway. Hours are 11am-6pm. I will be in booth #62 (just east of Winthrop St.) and I hope to see you there!
Now in its fourth year, the Edgewater Arts Festival is rapidly growing into one of Chicago’s premier artistic events. It combines fine art with a unique, contagious “block party” atmosphere. Each year, the Festival hosts an impressive multi-cultural and multi-generational lineup of Chicago artists and attracts thousands of art lovers and buyers coming from all over the city.
I’m excited to be back at the 14th Annual Ravenswood ArtWalk this weekend, September 10-11, from 11am-6pm. I’ll be located on Ravenswood at Berteau, booth #2 at the RAW Street Fest!
At the center of the ArtWalk is the RAW Street Fest, which features over 50 exhibitors, two stages of live music, the craft beer garden, a children’s activity corner and food truck roundup.
For over 14 years, RAW has grown into what it is today; a dynamic celebration of the arts that features over 150 artists and 50 venues, while placing special focus on the diverse talents of the Ravenswood Corridor.
