RedAvaDesigns’ first event of 2019 is the Handmade Market at The Empty Bottle! Come see the new pieces and collections I’ve been working on at the Handmade Market on Sunday, January 27, from 12 noon until 4pm.

Join RedAvaDesigns for the 6th annual Krampusfest on Saturday December 8, 2018, 12noon-6pm at Martyrs, 3855 N. Lincoln, Chicago. In Central European folklore, Krampus is a horned figure described as “half-goat, half-demon”, who, during the Christmas season, punishes children who have misbehaved, in contrast with Saint Nicholas, who rewards the well-behaved with gifts.

On Sunday, November 11, I’ll be returning to the Emanuel Congregation Holiday Market, 5959 N. Sheridan Rd., Chicago, 10am-3pm. From hand-crafted jewelry and accessories, kids’ items, soaps, textiles, home and paper goods, photography to edible goods, you’re sure to find unique gifts at this fun, family-friendly event, as well as supporting local artisans and vendors. Friday, November 16 marks the opening of the Evanston Art Center’s 16th Annual Winter Arts & Crafts Expo, at 1717 Central Street in Evanston, where I’ll have select jewelry for sale. The Expo will feature original work by more than 100 selected artisans, featuring jewelry, fiber, metal, ceramics, glass, painting, photography, mixed-media, and much more. Expo Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-9pm; Sat-Sun 9am-4pm; November 16 (opening day preview party) 6-9pm. A portion of the proceeds benefits the Art Center.
